Watson Honanie is an award-winning Hopi silver and goldsmith.  His beautiful overlay designs depict life from the Hopi perspective.

Corn represents life to the Hopi people.  Corn is used in sacred ceremonies.  Corn represents more than sustenance.  Stages of life are depicted by the various stages of the cultivation of corn.  Watson's family cultivates 21 acres of corn!

Watson creates jewelry of gold and silver overlay that portray Hopi culture and ceremonial life.  Watson's mother is of the Bear Clan.  The Bear Clan is responsible for the leadership within the village.
