Families have been known to bond in many different ways. For the Yellowhorse family, fine jewelry design is the common denominator. The influences of the Navajo culture are readily apparent in this beautiful wearable art, which evolved out of generations of artistic talent. See Jewelry Tour from a previous show
Yellowhorse jewelry is contemporary and sophisticated, comprised of beads and domes in smooth, clean lines. Choose from sterling silver, 14k yellow gold and beautiful cabochon stones to start a set of matching necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring. It's such a delight to share Gloria's and her family's beautiful workmanship with you!
Artie resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has two daughters and four grandchildren. Daughters, Desiree and Lei Lani are involved in the creation and design of jewelry with their mother. Desiree has become an accomplished jewelry designer and is well known for her exquisite jewelry designs. Lei Lani specializes in making handmade silver beads and also works with Artie marketing jewelry and public relations. Also working with Artie and her daughters is Artie's nephew Richard who is known for his "rising sun" design. Artie hopes that the Yellowhorse designs of today live on to inspire the young artists of tomorrow... TRADITIONS CONTINUE... The beauty and joy experienced by wearing Yellowhorse Navajo silver jewelry helps the wearer understand the Navajo concept of "walk in beauty."
