Signed Orville Tsinnie Magnesite Ring

Native American, handmade, sterling silver, heavy-weight, handmade Orville Tsinnie ring, stamped by the late Artist "Orville Tsinnie of New Mexico," sterling silver with a 14K bezel surrounding the stone. Size 10-3/4, the top of this large ring measures 1-1/8" x 3/4"
 
(1943-2017) Born in Tuba City AZ, and later living and running his gallery in Shiprock, NM. He was a master Navajo silversmith who won numerous awards, including a Lifetime Achievement award from the IACA, Indian Arts and Crafts Association.
 
A perfectionist, he was known for his traditional Navajo style, handmade with heavy silver and beautiful stamp work. Hi earlier pieces were typically turquoise but later added unusual and rare stones including sugilite, dinosaur bone and lapis.
